| Aid climbing on Ozi 270m 29 | Summer is now in full swing as the climbing at MT Buffalo heats up. 37 deg on xmas day and snow on boxing day has been followed by weeks of fine weather ranging from 26 - 35 on mtn. There were alot of climbers over the holidays that will finish near the end of Jan and alot of teams on the North wall with suprisingly few epics. Malcom Mathasom HB got on the oz again and soloed the two day climb in four hours fifty mins passing a team in the prosess. theres been alot of indoor climbers about but most have gone back to there air con plastic after the Buffalo had a chew on them. I've had some good leads on some new routes this autum {fall} when it cools down I look foward to jumping on the wall myself One car load of climbers had a close incounter with a rock on the way up the mount. After overtaking a slow car they mised the turn and went bush. The rock wiped out the front and the drivers girlfriend smashed her leg on the dash. Ges who's going to be lonely for a while. | ||||||||||||||||

Welcome to my home Mount Buffalo in victorias north east I found the place a few years ago and have desided to stay I work as an adventureguide that allows me to live and work at what I enjoy. My interests:Photography Climbing mountaineering Bushwalking. I like adventure in what ever form it takes though it needs to be low budget,{no big peaks yet} Though I did manage six weeks trecking in the Annapurna and Everest areas If your going to climb at Buffalo I know my way around most spots. My work involves teaching beginers so my climbing grades are only upto 20 I've resantly started aid climbing which is the only way to solo. | ||||||||||||||||
